Welcome to InvoJar. By using this website and the invoice generator tool ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

InvoJar provides a free, browser-based tool for creating invoice documents. The Service requires no account registration. Your invoice data is processed and stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

2. No professional advice

InvoJar provides document formatting tools only. We do not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice. Invoices you create are your sole responsibility. You are responsible for ensuring that your invoices are accurate, complete, and compliant with the tax, invoicing, and record-keeping requirements that apply to you in your jurisdiction.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service to create fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading documents;
Misrepresent invoices as being issued by a business or individual other than your own;
Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service or its hosting infrastructure;
Scrape, resell, or rebrand the Service as your own product.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you enter into the Service ("Your Content"). Because Your Content never leaves your browser, we claim no license over it and cannot access it. You are solely responsible for keeping your own backups; clearing your browser data or using a different device or browser will remove locally stored invoices.

5. Intellectual property

The InvoJar name, design, code, and templates are owned by InvoJar and protected by copyright. The invoices and receipts you generate are yours to use freely, including for commercial purposes.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

    THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT GENERATED DOCUMENTS WILL MEET YOUR LEGAL OR TAX REQUIREMENTS.
  

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InvoJar and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — including any consequences arising from documents you create with it.

8. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, and may update these Terms, at any time. Updated Terms take effect when posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
